Locating the extinguisher at the hazards is not advisable. According to NFPA-10, user has to consult for recommended extinguisher types, placements and travel distance from the hazards. All V-SAFE extinguishers are equipped with a detailed ‘User Guide’ containing valuable information about installation, usage, inspection & maintenance aspects. The same is also mentioned on the stickers of the extinguishers.
